You don't use the Yellow Pages as a form of entertainment, but as a source of information.  Our directories are just that, a source of information, but we target specific areas (i.e. Medieval, Celtic, Victorian or Gardening products and services, with more directories to come).  When our directories are accessed, the people are looking for adverts to speed up their search, and guide them to sites of specific interest.

Banner adverts do work in directories, they are not a source of irritation, but if designed well, can provide simple, straight forward information to direct potential customers to your site.  All adverts and listings in our directories are seen and read, because that is what people are looking for.
